boop...beep...boop...beep....
Hey, I just realized, *ahem*, I mean: due to my masterful planning of our 48 Marathon on the weekend of October 24th, we get an extra hour thanks to Daylight Savings! That's almost 1 1/2 episodes for free, thanks Ben!
In other news, we've had plenty of good suggestions and some questions about our upcoming endeavor(continued in extended):
In a related discussion on www.ctusecure.com, RunJackRun suggests some caffeine (essential) and a personal toilet (ewww).
Verbal, also from ctusecure asks : My question to you is this: are you going to do this again next year when it's 72 hours in total?
Our answer: Well, we'll have to see about that ;).
Plenty of people have replied with "we are watching 2 or 3 episodes a night", or "I'm going to watch all of season 2 the day before". Well folks, that's just not going to cut it here, whimps ;). We are still on the lookout for other people who are attempting the same thing, so keep us informed.

All 48 Episodes of "24"
That's right folks, on October 24th, mincus and shftleft are going to watch all 48 episodes of Fox's hit series 24 in a row. This is to commemorate the beginning of the 3rd season on October 28th. I can't think of anything better than a heaping dose of Keifer and Elisha for over 30 hours in a row! We're hoping everyone will follow suit and start their own "48 24's In a Row" party. If you do, be sure to e-mail us and we will definitely link to you.
You can watch us accomplish this feat at our cam page and chat with us during the marathon on irc.slashnet.org in room #24. We are taking bets on whether or not we can finish all without sleep, but there will definitely be breaks for going to bathroom, food, caffeine, etc. We will be posting further entries with details on other possible people joining us, the odds of each person finishing, and other pertinent details.
