But I made it... thanks to everyone that watched shft and i through our ludicrous quest. Follows is my part of the log that shft and I were keeping.

2:18pm - shft is becoming more and more horizontal; jackie invites shft to lay down with her. evil, no?

2:20pm - mason not only breathes in radioactive gas, he sits in it and yells

2:26pm - shft drinks red bull number 4

2:27pm - kate freaks out for the first time

2:31pm - distracted by thisflaske picture NSFW

2:35pm - strategically placed bombs can take down a structure... like one pasted on the back of a television?

2:43pm - bomb attached to the TV blows up entire CTU building

3:17PM - kate freaks out again.

3:19pm - shft starts playing poker

3:20pm - shft breaks out singing 50 ways to leave your lover

3:33pm - shiny object distracts shft and mincus for 5 minutes as we figure out the optimal way to deploy and retract the wireless antenna from his WAN card.

3:40pm - mincus has another glass of cold coffee, black

4:05pm - everyone becomes a smarmy bitch. marie, kate, sagien, etc

4:10pm - fat megan must be saved at all costs from the nuke.

4:15pm - i know the last person i let you interrogate; you shot in the heart immediately, but hey go interrogate your arch nemesis now.

4:20pm - "nigga please" to the crowd of reporters

4:30pm - jack bauer is my hero

4:45pm - i love you forever, unless you lose your legs. Then i wouldnt love you anymore. FYI

4:53pm - shft and minc start mumbling the rumbling music that plays when exciting things are happening

5:01pm - Kate totally flips out, again

5:58pm - terrorists have second thoughts about dropping the bomb. shft talks them back into it.

6:02pm - shft goes to take a wake up shower

6:11pm - it worked!

6:25pm - got the mail, it was all junk

7:04pm - something different, kate fucking freaks out

7:30pm - kate, ironically, freaks out

8:09pm - outside of the mosque, kate does her thing

8:50pm - kate slowly descends into freaking out

9:24pm - mincus was fine all day, all of a sudden, eyes are really heavy

10:00pm - mincus and shft have another red bull

3:24am: 1/2 way through the first season. I'm finding it harder and harder to remember whats going on... can't really remember facts from episode to episode

3:45am: Jackie drops.

4:00am: 2nd Red Bull for shft/Black coffee for mincus

5:16am: Jack eat's food in the 14th episode

6:21am: Milo=bitch

6:40am: Jackie goes upstairs, we're still not black

6:58am: shft is drinking cold black coffee

7:05am: Kim=dumb

7:45am: shft's 3rd red bull

8:01am: is he chewing gum?

The time has come.

This Friday is the marathon. I'm telling you folks right now that I'm not going to make it, I couldn't even stay up until 2:30 am Saturday night to finish minority report. Of course, I was drunk. Anyway, LETS DO IT!

Just as a reminder here is our first post:

That's right folks, on *edit* November 21st *edit*, mincus and shftleft are going to watch all 48 episodes of Fox's hit series 24 in a row. This is to commemorate the beginning of the 3rd season on October 28th. I can't think of anything better than a heaping dose of Keifer and Elisha for over 30 hours in a row! We're hoping everyone will follow suit and start their own "48 24's In a Row" party. If you do, be sure to e-mail us and we will definitely link to you.

You can watch us accomplish this feat at our cam page and chat with us during the marathon on irc.slashnet.org in room #24. We are taking bets on whether or not we can finish all without sleep, but there will definitely be breaks for going to bathroom, food, caffeine, etc. We will be posting further entries with details on other possible people joining us, the odds of each person finishing, and other pertinent details.
