OMGOMGOMG....
Sagien is the big hero last night. He may have even saved lives.
I saw a car crash last night. It happened 5 seconds before I drove by. There was still all the wonderful smoke coming out of one car, while the other car was swerving around dazed when I saw it. And mincus said azn drivers are bad. Clearly, none of those drivers close to dying were asian?
Ok, so this is kind of what happened.
I get out of retard english class as my phone rings. It was friend Matt. Matt informs me that he is hungry. I said, okay let me check my busy schedule for the evening and I will call you back. He said cool.
As I hang up, phone rings again. Damn, Im popular. It was friend April. April is also in need of some nourishment. An idea sparks in my head.
'Very well, ' I said, 'I shall gather you and then we shall meet Matt and his friends at the renowned International House of Pancakes!'
Dinner was mostly uneventful. All the cool stuff happened between the hours of midnight and 3am. More cool towards the beginning than the end.
After dinner, I started driving friend April home. We were engaged in idle chit chat in the car when I noticed what I thought was a drunk driver in a white van up ahead on the road. He was swerving in and out of lanes, making the van look like some drugged up elephant trying to walk down the road. I get on the furthest lane away from him to avoid a collision.
Meanwhile, April noticed something on the side of the road.
'Oh my god, ' she said, 'a car...'
At that point I was driving right by the smoking remains of some black car with (clearly?) no asians in it. There were two slumped bodies over in the front seats.
Friend April goes hysterical. Starts crying. Uncontrollably. Apparently she saw a bit more than I did.
Being the safe driver that I am, with a non-commital nature of never being involved in what we shall describe as unnecessary drama, I drove right by.
I took out my handy coolio phone, however, and dialed 911. Said coolio phone goes into 'Emergency Mode'. I steeled myself into admiring this wonderful phenomenon at a later time.
'911 how can I help you?'
I have never called these people before.
'Uh, I saw a car accident.'
'Ok, Im transferring you'
......... .. . . . . .
'Hello? Where is the accident?'
'I have utterly no clue as to what streetnames are. I have a GPS locator on my phone. Do you have me?' Man its cool to sound that cool.
'Yes, I have you.'
'Well its a couple of blocks down from where I am on Georgia between Blair Rd and the 495 exit.'
'Thank you, we have people on the way, ' he said.
Sagien is the big hero.
April is still hysterical. April remained hysterical until 3am. Sagien has no sleep.

Posted by at October 1, 2003 09:36 AMSounds like April needs to chill and get in the real world, where real things happen.
Posted by: joeyjackoff at October 1, 2003 09:53 AMI am willing to bet that an asian person cut off the smoking black car thus causing the wreck. So don't blame April for not getting sleep, it wasn't her fault.

Posted by: sagien at October 1, 2003 05:56 PMIt seems to me that your 'coolio' phone was more the hero.
Posted by: jprevatte at October 2, 2003 10:23 AMToo bad his 'coolio' phone forgot to take an action shot.
Posted by: mincus at October 2, 2003 12:42 PMI was upset and hyperventilating. Plus the coolio phone was with 911 at the time.
